Bienvenue dans notre univers

(WELCOME TO OUR WORLD)

Otama Beach, New Zealand

Otama Beach, New Zealand - so beautiful you can hardly believe it's real.

Sheep farmer’s daughter meets teacher trainee studying French in Auckland, New Zealand…they leave their home to explore God’s kingdom…first stop the US of A … they have four children on three different continents…they finally settle in France and find a deeply religious people who call themselves “atheists”…they ask the question, “what does the gospel look like when planted in European soil?”

Simon divides his time between teaching English in university and business contexts, and working with churches in their mission to bless their cities.

In addition to managing their home, Heather is a translator, and is involved locally in a centre for homeless people.

Together they help lead a “church without walls” and are learning about God’s priorities for the Church.

Why this blog?

Random musings on mission, living in France, faith, family, and links that make me think. A window on the sandbox of my mind, and storage for unfinished thoughts. More here.
